Makeup brushes ~

Brushes are very important for having a good make up. I found that different brands, ,texture, bristles and intensity of hair can lead to a very different finish on the same products you use.
I remember someone has said a good set of makeup brushes can last you for a lifetime. Now, I believe that and I decided to invest in good makeup brushes. You feel so comfortable (just like heaven )when a soft , smooth brushes touch on your face. Maybe you think I exaggerate the words, but you know what I mean if you need to have make up everyday.
I have around 16 brushes right now. Most of them are Bobbi brown and Mac. I bought some cheap brushes before but they could not last long and all I still kept are the quite expensive one.
Eye:
Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner- is one of the favourite of Bobbi brown's collection. It is very fine and great for using eye liner gel. You can draw a finely pointed line easily. Also, the bristle is soft and it is gentle to use on your eye. It is a must item.
Bobbi Brown Eye Liner Brush- This is a fine brush to put the eye shadow on a small area. The BA recommended me to draw eyeliner from eye shadow. The brush is soft and easy to control. But I can say it is not a must item for just normal day out make up.
Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow Brushes- It allows you to put on the right amount of shadow on your eye lid. It is soft and you can use it to build up the intensity of the colour. Very easy to control.
Bobbi Brown Concealer brush- it is important to get a concealer brush as it is not easy to use your finger for small area or some spots. Also, when you have acne, it is better to put the concealer with a clean brush as your fingers may have a lot of bacteria which may intensify the break out.
Mac 239SE Eye Shade Brush- this is a brush I got from the Hello Kitty Collection. It is a brush for putting eye shadow. I use it for putting cream shadow as I do not want to use one eye shadow brush with all different texture eye products. It feels so weird...
Chanel #24 Small Tapered Blending brush- I love this brush so much. I wonder how come I cannot find it on the official website now. I got it last year when I went to tried their new products. It is a pointy , soft brush that is great for blending colour on your double eye lid. Super good to do a gentle smokey eye.
Blush:
The body shop blush brush- I heard it is great and I got it as it is not very expensive. The bristle is very soft but not very good in pick up the colour. I use it when I want to put a small area of blush on my cheek.
Bobbi Brown blush brush- I love this brush as it is soft and great on pick up the colour. I use it all the time with my Benefit blush. It is a perfect size for my cheek .
Mac 187SE Duo Fibre Brush- also one of my Hello kitty brush collection. I found the look weird when I first saw it. However, I love it after I tried to use it with Nars Blushes. The colour of Nars blushes are very intense and you may put too much when you accidentally pad it too hard. I like to use this brush as you can slowly build up the colour and still enables you to have a soft touch, a natural look.
Also, you can use this brush for liquid foundation, powder foundation and pressed powder. It is so multi-use that you definitely need to keep one on your dressing table.
Mac 109 SE small contour brush- also from Hello kitty selection. As the size is small , I use it for highlight. It is great for highlighting forehead, nose or chin.
Mac Contour brush: It is a angled contour brush that can easily creates shades on your face. I use it every day as my face is rounded. It is good to put on bronzer under my cheek to create some shadow. This brushes has helped me a lot in blending to colour and make it soft and natural.
Guerlain powder blush- it is a luxury product as it is not cheap. The bristle is not as soft as most of the powder blush. It is beautiful as a decoration brush.
Bobbi Brown powder blush- It is a very soft doom shaped brush. It allows you to put on the powder easily. One bad thing is it shed. I always get to pick up the bristle left on my face which annoyed me.
Foundation :
Bobbi brown foundation brush- Great brushes to put on liquid foundation as it gives you a very soft finished.
Armani foundation brush- I got with together with my Armani foundation but I find it not as good as described. Not very easy to blend it the foundation on the face and leaves clear stripe after that.
Lancome foundation brush- One of the best foundation described by a lot of blogger. I just got it few days ago and will try it soon. The bristle is similar to the one of Bobbi Brown. Hopefully it will not disappoint me.
