Home made dumplings

Making dumpling is one of my lazy receipe for dinner. Maybe you will think it is quite troublesome to make wipe the fillings but it is very convenient to cook them both in the boiling or pan fry.
I decided to pan fry it as the taste will be stronger and smelled a lot better. Seem to be more suitable for festival season..haha
I marinated the pork mince and mushroom with soy sauce, pepper, sugar, vegetable oil and egg for 2 hours. You can add vegetable and I added green bean cos no other vegetable available (make sure you get the excess water from the vegetable you added, if not, the dumpling's wipe will be wet). When you get to wipe it, add the corn flour and stir them together with the filling to make the meat to be softer and drier.
Heat the pan with around oil, put the dumplings in and turn to middle heat and cooked for around 1 to 2 mins. Add 1 cup of water with 1 tbsp of flour to the pan and cover it for 8 to 12 mins depending of the size of the dumplings. Once you see the water is nearly dry, you can open the lid and they are ready to eat ...yumyum.
