Gunshop cafe

After kind of struggling between two options : Yum cha or Paddington for brunch on Sunday, Tao and I came up with the idea of going to West End for a nice start on Sunday.
We went to the Gunshop cafe which is voted as the top cafe in Brisbane. I have tried that before, but I do not like it. It was lunch last time, and I would like to try their nice breakfast.
Tao had the black pudding and I have the strawberry french toast. I have no idea how the black pudding tasted as I have no interest on anything like that.(no offense). For my french toast, I really like it. The toast is soft and yum. Not so sweet and definitely suit my taste. One of the bad thing is the long waiting time. I guess it is not much kitchen hands and we ended up waiting around 40 minutes for the meal to come out. Luckily it is delicious so it is worth the wait.

In love with new foundation.

These two new foundations I got recently in Mecca Cosmetics and they are both well regarded. So, I wanna try it.
The Chantecailla Future skin foundation is the gel based oil free foundation. It leaves the skin smooth and not dry at all. It contains aloe, chamomile and arnic to prevent any irritation and so suitable for sensitive skin. It also has green tea and rosemary for preventing any oxidation. So, it is a skin care foundation which will not harm your skin at all. The coverage is around light to medium. It makes your face looks so natural. For combination skin like me, I need to touch up around three hours.
By terry light expert is excellent. It is light and has a beautiful smell. Once you sweep it on face, it will get rid off the dull and shadows. Also, the texture is light and watery. It feels to good when the foundation was put on the face and I do not need to touch up for the whole day. It is suitable for a natural looks as it provides a light coverage. I love it so much but the price is quite expensive as it only provides around half of the volume of average foundation in the market.

Big Big Brush

Kevyn Aucoin face brush is one of the most favourite powder brush voted by make up artisits. This face brush is the biggest brush I have ever seen. I put it together with my Bobbi Brown face brush and you can see the difference. It is two size bigger and the brush is a lot softer.
If you think that the hair of Bobbi Brown is nice, you will for sure like the Kevyn Aucoin. As it is big, it can enable you to evenly sweep across your face. It is now on my top list of brushes.

yumyum breakfast @ paddington

I have not gone to Paddington for breakfast for ages. Haha ....cos I am too lazy to go such a long way to have breakfast. But I wanna to have a nice Aussie breakfast last Saturday so we decided to go ...
Tao had the salmon and I ordered the field mushroom. I love my mushroom so much ...it is well marinated with the sauce and the pesto tomato is very delicious. I usually do not like pesto sauce but this one is a bit different. ....I love it..hehe...(Also it is good that I can shop around after breakfast at Latrobe terrace)..haha..

Earrings

I have not bought any earrings for a really long time. I like to wear earring a lot but just did not have the mood to wear it in this half year. Maybe I am too lazy to clean and organize them. Recently, I saw Bam and JuJu has the new Arnsdorf and Esteele Deve collaboration jewellery. I love it at the first sight. I especially like the necklace but it was sold out when I went there. So, I got the ring Quartz earrings and Amethyst ring. I wore the earrings last Saturday and I love it. It is big and quite heavy but it looked real good on me..haha...
This earring is quite special cos I seldom see earrings with big quartz and still look fashionable. This is my new favourite but I guess it is not good to wear that earrings every day cos it is a bit too heavy for daily wear.

Henry and Judy 's wedding

Last saturday was Henry and Judy's wedding. The ceremony was in New Farm Park and the dinner was set at the Moda Events Portside Hamilton.
Moda Events Portside is a great venue to have ceremony. It had the great balcony which you can drink and enjoy the view of the brisbane river at the same time.
The food there was very nice. I especially like the steak (Tao got it so I can taste a bit) and the green apple jelly and ice cream dessert. It is really delicious , however, I was too full of eating so much before, so I could not finish the whole dessert...but..it is one of the best I have ever tried.

Yum Yum steak @ Moo Moo Brisbane

Bruco suggested to go to Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill for dinner on Friday night. We have not been there before but heard that it was a great dinning restaurant.
Moo Moo Brisbane opened in the historic Port office Building at the Stamford Plaza in the city. The original Moo Moo Broadbeach has won the best steak restaurant in QLD two years ago and I believe it is for sure a great place to have steak. So , everyone of us was ordering steak....
The cold entree is yum...fresh ...even though we have no idea what it is .(cause no one can pick up what the waiter was talking )...but we all liked it. I also ordered the Moo Moo punch (Cocktail). It is a drink full of strawberry, orange and lime....I love it.
Steak is always the favourite dish for Tao, that why he immediately picked the signature dish- 1 KG wagyu rump roast to share with me. (I am sure he will for sure eat part of my portion). The rump roast is served with wild rocket pear parmesan salad, wagyu fat kipfler potatoes and a trio of chef's sauce selection. The steak is perfectly cooked. It is one of the best steak I have ever tried. It is super soft and juicy. I usually did not eat any fatty part , but I like the fat of the steak this time. It added the favour and without any oiliness. The three sauce are very great too.....all of them are tasty. The rocket salad is yummy too..., the potato is fresh and crunchy.....perfect match.
At the end , I was very full but I still want my dessert..haha.....
I ordered the Rhubarb Souffle with Praline ice cream. I love that ice cream...so creamy.....one of the best too. The souffle is soft....best ending for a great dinner.
Because one of my friend's main comes a bit late and the sides did not come at the same time with our mains. So, the waiter decided not to charge us any cost for the sides.... So, we kind of get a bargain for it. ..but the service there is really good and I am sure I will go to Moo Moo in the future for sure.
