Henry and Judy 's wedding

Last saturday was Henry and Judy's wedding. The ceremony was in New Farm Park and the dinner was set at the Moda Events Portside Hamilton.

Moda Events Portside is a great venue to have ceremony. It had the great balcony which you can drink and enjoy the view of the brisbane river at the same time.

The food there was very nice. I especially like the steak (Tao got it so I can taste a bit) and the green apple jelly and ice cream dessert. It is really delicious , however, I was too full of eating so much before, so I could not finish the whole dessert...but..it is one of the best I have ever tried.

Yum Yum steak @ Moo Moo Brisbane

Bruco suggested to go to Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill for dinner on Friday night. We have not been there before but heard that it was a great dinning restaurant.

Moo Moo Brisbane opened in the historic Port office Building at the Stamford Plaza in the city. The original Moo Moo Broadbeach has won the best steak restaurant in QLD two years ago and I believe it is for sure a great place to have steak. So , everyone of us was ordering steak....

The cold entree is yum...fresh ...even though we have no idea what it is .(cause no one can pick up what the waiter was talking )...but we all liked it. I also ordered the Moo Moo punch (Cocktail). It is a drink full of strawberry, orange and lime....I love it.

Steak is always the favourite dish for Tao, that why he immediately picked the signature dish- 1 KG wagyu rump roast to share with me. (I am sure he will for sure eat part of my portion). The rump roast is served with wild rocket pear parmesan salad, wagyu fat kipfler potatoes and a trio of chef's sauce selection. The steak is perfectly cooked. It is one of the best steak I have ever tried. It is super soft and juicy. I usually did not eat any fatty part , but I like the fat of the steak this time. It added the favour and without any oiliness. The three sauce are very great too.....all of them are tasty. The rocket salad is yummy too..., the potato is fresh and crunchy.....perfect match.

At the end , I was very full but I still want my dessert..haha.....

I ordered the Rhubarb Souffle with Praline ice cream. I love that ice cream...so creamy.....one of the best too. The souffle is soft....best ending for a great dinner.

Because one of my friend's main comes a bit late and the sides did not come at the same time with our mains. So, the waiter decided not to charge us any cost for the sides.... So, we kind of get a bargain for it. ..but the service there is really good and I am sure I will go to Moo Moo in the future for sure.

The peasant

I decided to have the Tao 's birthday dinner @ the Peasant. I have never tried this restaurant before but I knew they have some nice Spanish ham which is Tao's favourite.

We enjoyed the food especially the seared fish and the octopus....I am okay with the ham but not my favourite. I like my cocktail but cannot drink too much as we were both sick....hopefully we will be super healthy and can eat more yummy food next time ...hehe

Ride! cookie

Cookie is on my exercise bicycle, not sure where did he wanna ride to?!....

Accident ......o

My hand got burn yesterday when I was cooking dinner. I guess the veggie I put on the pan get some water and when it came contact with the super hot oil, the oil immediately spilled to my hand. O...that is so painful and I just run my hand in water and put some cream on. Now, I get to wrap it with patch ....hopefully will recover soon...

Toothbrush

Oral B Procare 500 Triumph IQ is my birthday gift this year from Tao. The toothbrush claims to give you the best cleaning results with 3 D technology and can remove much more plaque compared to ordinary toothbrush. It has a indicator which allows you to set the time, duration and the brushing modes. It is a very high tech toothbrush. It also comes with three different brush heads for different use.

I just opened it and have used for almost 4 days. So far, I like it as it does what it claims. My tooth feels a lot cleaner using this because of the 3 D technology and the way the brush turn. It is fast but still gentle. You feel like the brush is massaging your tooth .

One bad thing is the indicator. It would be good for the indicator to "beep" for telling you to change the area of brushing so that you do not need to keep the eye on it. Because I do not like to stick this to the wall and I feel tired looking at the indicator for the time. But I guess if you can stick it to the wall at your eye level, then it will not be a problem for you.

This is a expensive product and I think it is a good investment for taking care of your teeth.

Just my skin

I like to use mineral foundation for daily use as I know it will not harm my skin. However, it does not apply on the face smoothly when my skin is not in the good condition. I found that you have to buff the powder for a very long time or use your fingers to tap the powder in order to create a smooth look.

So, I try to find another light foundation which is good for skin but also easy to use. I heard a lot of great things about the Chantecaille Just Skin. This is the first make up product I got from this brand. I have used its eye cream before and it was really good. (I am thinking to get it again as Mecca Australia has recently started to promote this brand).

Chantecaille Just Skin is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15. It contains botanical extracts which will not irritate your skin but provide anti-oxidant. I tried it on my face and I love it. It is very light and smooth. It is not dry at all and your skin feel moisturized even thought after a whole day out. The colour I get is GLOW which is suitable for most of the chinese. This tinted moisturizer can work as a base and you can put liquid or cream foundation on top. I also get the Chantecaille Real Skin foundation

Bikini

Summer is coming and I wanna swim in this summer. I fell in love with this pattern once I saw it in the shop "Zimmermann". This flowery pattern is so bright and lovely. I seldom like red colour but I really like this one.

Zimmermann has a lot of nice swimwear and dresses. I love this brand a lot as the clothes are very chic.

Lovely purple

This is the wallet that I got last year. I kept it one year and finally decided to use it. It took me so long does not mean I do not love it but vice versa. I do not like LV much but I like this purple wallet. It is smaller than the previous wallet and I got to get some cards out in case it looks too bulky.
