Whale watching must be on my top summer activities this year. I wanted to go Whale watching since the first year I came to Australia to study. I believe it must be a nice experience and that why I always wanted to go. The best time to go whale watching is between July to October. However, I did not go for the past years because of various reasons eg...laziness, weather, cost...etc...Finally, Tao booked the Sea world whale cruise on this Saturday.
We arrived at the Sea world Wharf at early morning. It was a sunny day and the sea was real calm. We sailed around 10 km away from the Gold Coast. I could not believe it was so windy on the sea and my tears kept rolling from my eyes. I stared at the sea for around 10 minutes and nothing came up. I was afraid that I could not see any whale today. But after a while, we were able to spot some spring and saw the shiny reflection on the sea. The vessel followed the whale and we were able to see this wonderful animal so close. It was a Humpback whale and it was so exciting to see it kept coming up and swimming down. The whale seemed very playful and even swam under the vessel and showed its tail. What a wonderful experience!!!
