My dresser

I wanted to have a nice dresser for ages. I guess most girls prefer to have the nice dresser so they can put all their skincare, make up and accessories there.
Previously, I put all the my stuffs in a tallboy and my make up and skincare on top of it. I hang a small mirror on the wall so I can use it for make up. However, it is no really convenient to do that every day as I had to lean towards to wall to see my face clearly. However, this situation is going to change as we bought a new set of furniture for the bedroom.
I am thrilled to have the dresser. It gets a huge mirror which I definitely no need to lean towards the wall anymore. I spent nearly two hours organizing all my stuffs into the new dresser. It was really nice to have the drawer that are separated. So, I can organize my accessories much more easier. I found that I really have a lot of stuffs but luckily I am able to fit all the stuffs in and still have rooms left for more...haha..

Whale watching

Whale watching must be on my top summer activities this year. I wanted to go Whale watching since the first year I came to Australia to study. I believe it must be a nice experience and that why I always wanted to go. The best time to go whale watching is between July to October. However, I did not go for the past years because of various reasons eg...laziness, weather, cost...etc...Finally, Tao booked the Sea world whale cruise on this Saturday.

We arrived at the Sea world Wharf at early morning. It was a sunny day and the sea was real calm. We sailed around 10 km away from the Gold Coast. I could not believe it was so windy on the sea and my tears kept rolling from my eyes. I stared at the sea for around 10 minutes and nothing came up. I was afraid that I could not see any whale today. But after a while, we were able to spot some spring and saw the shiny reflection on the sea. The vessel followed the whale and we were able to see this wonderful animal so close. It was a Humpback whale and it was so exciting to see it kept coming up and swimming down. The whale seemed very playful and even swam under the vessel and showed its tail. What a wonderful experience!!!

Current daily foundations

These are the three liquid foundations I usually use. They are all quite long wearing and can last up to six hours.
Dior Forever foundation - It is a foundation I got last winter. I bought it because of the good comments from beauty's blog. It is a medium coverage foundation and can last for a long period of time. It gives you quite a matte finish and is good for combination to oily skin. I usually use it in night time.
Ipsa pure protect liquid foundation - I got it last time in Hong Kong as recommended by my friend. It is a medium coverage foundation that can last for around 6 hours in summer time. I like it as it is quite light on your skin without clogging the pores.
Armani lasting silk UV foundation - It is a foundation I got last month. I used the silk luminous foundation before but it does not suit my skin type very well. But I heard quite a lot of good comment on the new lasting silk UV foundation and I decided to give a try. It gives a light coverage compared to the IPSA and Dior foundations I mentioned above. It gives my skin a satin matte finish which I really like. It leaves a natural finish for my face and I really love it.
My current love for concealer is the Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener. It is very light and the colour suits me perfectly. It is very smooth and will not form lines underneath the eye. If it is cheaper..then everything is perfect...haha

New Look

Haven't cut my hair for quite a long time and my hair looked so dry and messy. I wanted to cut my hair these few weeks as I could not stand for it anymore. So, I decided to go to salon today and had a new look.
I trimmed , permed and had a treatment. I always want to have long and wavy hair so I decided to perm my hair again. I like big and loose curve as it looks natural...hehe.....Thanks so much for the hair stylist MIA. She is very nice and very patient with the customers......

Sesame Cookie

Yum Yum Sesame Cookie.

I have not made cookies for ages as I was too lazy to wash dishes. Also, I am not very familiar with the new oven. I nearly burnt the pie last time when I used it. The top layer of the pie got burnt after I put it in the oven for only 5 minutes. So, I am a bit scared to use it.

Today, I just wanna to bake something. Compared to cheese cake and cookie, Cookie is a lot easier to make and so I decided to bake some sesame cookie. I did not make much as I do not want Tao to eat so much. It is quite fatty....but definitely a nice treat for tea time.

Nice food @Sunnybank Hotel

We got a voucher from grocery shopping at Woolthworth to have a second main meal for only $7 when purchasing a main meal at Sunnybank Hotel . What a good bargain!!!
We went there at around 6 0'clock on Saturday and there was already a lot of people there. It was a long queue to order and we waited for around half hour. But it is good that we do not need to wait for a long time when our food came.
I had the eye fillet and Tao had the pork ribs. Honestly they are better than what expected. The food was usually not tasty when it is that cheap. But , both of steak and ribs were nicely cooked and full of flavor. Yum.........I will try next time again when I have the voucher...haha..

Cookie's new bed for Winter

Cookie likes to sleep on the sofa with the blanket. He always looked at me and cried while he wanted to sit on the sofa with me in this cold Winter. Once he is allowed to sleep on the sofa, there is nothing else can make him move except for his favourite liver treat.
I know that it is too cold for him to sleep on a thin cloth in his room , so I wanna to buy him a warmer and softer bed. I saw a cute one yesterday while shopping for furnitures and decided to buy for Cookie. He likes it very much and always spends his time there.

Best dinner at this winter...

It is so cold these days in Brisbane. It is freezing in the early morning and at night when the sun is gone. And the best way to keep warm is to have hot pot. It is quite expensive to have hot pot in restaurant , so we decided to have it at home.
We got a pot which is divided into two sections so we are able to have two flavors of soup. Tao prefers spicy soup and I like the plain chicken soup. We buy a lot of beef, mushrooms and tofu. I especially like the fresh mushroom. I can finish all by myself......yumyum....
Tao also drinks his favourite rice wine.......um....too strong for me.@@
