old school product

This is a sunscreen that I bought recently. I immediately wanted to purchase it when I first saw this product because I like the package. I remember I used exactly the same package of glue when I was studying in kindergarten. The package is exactly the same without the lovely heart shaped sunglasses sticker at front (I stick it as provided from the box) and the content is no longer glue but sunscreen. This package reminds me of my childhood and it is great still able to purchase such a similar item. Although I am not sure whether the product is good or not, I still keep it there for the clue of my childhood.

手寫

因為電腦太方便了，我己經很久没有用筆寫這麼多字了。回想以前讀中史時，每星期玉少要手寫超過四篇文章，手都要斷了。但是自從没有再讀中文有關的科目後，根本没有這需要，所以手寫字也退步了很多，一直對自己手字很自豪的我面對現在的字也很是慚愧。不過我仍然相信我還是比很多以電腦為手寫工具的人來得整齊。

煲劇

己經很久没有追劇追得這麼的牽腸掛肚了，記得上一次應該是在大學時狂追的流星花園。當年自己仍是青春少艾，對很多事情都難免有著虛無縹緲的幻想，所以對這種以灰姑娘為藍本的偶像劇無法抗拒。當時我可以不停的重複看，所有劇情動作都記得十分清楚，簡直好像我才是主角一樣。

經過這麼多年，我己經少了當時煲劇的衝勁，畢竟過了多個年頭，人著實踏實了很多，少了很多青少年無謂的理想及幻想，對很多人及事都有了免疫能力，理性的背後，人變得不容易被打動，刻薄一點的說法是麻木不仁。所以追劇的時間也不是這樣重要了。

但是最近我竟然又有了這麼追劇的期待，每星期天便急不及待星期一到來，那我便可以快點看到新一集的下一站幸福。

雖然這部劇的故事情節仍是很一般的偶像劇，但是人物描寫很細膩，尤以親情最為感動，不是一味的青春偶像愛得死去活來的老調子，加上小演員小杉杉可愛猶憐的表現，所以往往令我熱淚盈眶，一再回味劇中的對話，回味那份感動。這部劇己經到了最後一集了，真的很期待結局會是如何。不過又很捨不得曲終人散，畢竟能打動人心温馨小品並不多，能令我每星期期待的電視劇經屈指可數。

劇中的一首歌也很感人，"我以為" 品冠 很是感人。值得回味...

Valentine's Day dinner @ Cha Cha Char

Tao wants to try Cha Cha Char for a long time and we decided to try that on Valentine's day. Cha Cha Char is a famous steak restaurant along river side and it has very beautiful night view. Usually we have to book around two weeks before but luckily we could able to book a table days before and enjoy a Valentine's set menu on the special day.

We did not know the menu before as the restaurant forgot to send us the menu. Anyway, I for sure will try the steak because it was the signature dish there. We went there a bit earlier and I had a mixed juice called Cinderella. I guess most of the girls are Cinderella at that night.

I had the Burrata and Tao had the steak tartare as entre. I love the Burrata a lot. It is wiped by the cheese with cream inside. I love the milky smell and the creamy texture..yum....

For the main, we chose rump and eye fillet. I ordered the medium rare and it was so soft. I love it and the mushroom sauce was a great combination with the steak. Tao had the medium rump and it was so tendered. We both enjoyed it so much.

Of course, there must be delicious dessert at the end for a great dinner. I had the pannacotta and Tao had the chocolate creme brulee. I love pannacotta as the texture was creamy and soft. Not so sweet but just about right. The chocolate creme brulee was rich and Tao loved the biscuit at the bottom...wa...wonderful dessert and in a nice portion which not too much after a great main meal.

After the dinner, we went to Mt Cootha and enjoy the scenery of Brisbane. Wonderful valentine day....Thx

surgery @ hospital

I had my first surgery in life last Monday. I had a lump on my left ear from infection one year ago.
I had consulted the doctor in Australia and decided to leave it as it does not have any harm yet. However, my mum insisted that I should insult a doctor in Hong Kong and the doctor advised to get it out. It had to be done in surgery at hospital and this was the first time I have surgery. The doctor got to anesthetize my ear first and I was so scared inside the cold surgery room. I heard the doctor using the scissor to cut the lump out bit by bit as I could hear every sound. As it was on my ear.....it was like a speaker .....When the doctor was doing the front part, I could feel a bit cold and pain , I immediate told the doctor for more anesthesia. After a few hours rest in the hospital, I went home and rest and was given some medicine.

Last Saturday, the doctor supposed to take the stitches out before I back to Australia. However, my skin did not recovered as fast as expected. I bleed a lot when the doctor got the stitch out and spent nearly 30 mins for stopping the bleed and wrapped the ear again in case the wound would spilt open again. I hope that it could recover asap.

Wonton noodle

I do not intend to eat won ton noodle but came across to this shop after seeing doctor in Central, so I decided to try this as I also remembered recommended by one of my friends.

The noodle was really good ...maybe it was not made by machine and the texture was a bit different to other won ton noodle shops.

However, I did not try the won ton as it was made from shrimp (I could not eat that during that time afraid getting infection from the wound). Tao told me that the won ton was nice and with big shrimps...Also, the deep fried won ton was the traditional one with very crispy skin. The usual one I saw was not so yellow in colour and the not as crispy but still soft at the same time.I will for sure try it next time when I go....hehe

Pineapple bun with butter

Pineapple bun with butter 菠蘿油 is one of a very famous snack from Hong Kong. The original one must be hot bun with cold butter . That is one of Tao 's favourite and we always came to the traditional cafe to have this every time to Hong Kong. Tao had two of this large buns for breakfast. I still wonder how could his stomach digest that......

Great japanese food @ causeway bay

Thanks to Jo, Tao and I were able to have a nice Japanese meal @Sakagcama. This was a small restaurant without much fancy decoration but very cosy. The fish was very fresh and I like the salad (one of my favourite). The soup was yummy and I ate a lot....

Happy two weeks time

Two weeks time in Hong Kong is so amazing. I met a lot of friends including high school friends and university friends. I have met and chat with a lot of them who has not seen for few years and I was so glad to have the chance and time to catch up with them again. I found that I could not stop talking and talking during all the catch up. I found that time really not enough for me for meeting for these good friends.

Growing up may be a happy thing but I also find that it is not easy to find sincere great friends anymore as life is not as simple as before. So,I treasure every good friends I have now. Hope to keep in touch with every one and meet again soon.
