A new sofa

It is getting cold these days and very windy. I find my dog always wanted to sit with me or Tao so he does not feel cold. He likes to get up early with me and begging to sit on the sofa . I guess he likes to have a nice warm place to sit on .....esp we can wooden floor which is quite cold in winter. So I got him a new bed and a new sofa. He now likes to sit on the sofa when I play computer . Also, he has a new warm bed upstairs so he will have a good sleep at night...yeah..

Cookie is on my exercise bicycle, not sure where did he wanna ride to?!....

More for cookie

I just realized the membership for PET CITY is going to expire soon and I would like to grab some stuffs for Cookie before it is too late.

Cookie has been really good these days and I love him so much. So, I decided to buy him some new toys, shampoo, treats and a sleeping mat. Hope he will continue to behave good and be a good dog ...hehe

Cookie's new bed for Winter

Cookie likes to sleep on the sofa with the blanket. He always looked at me and cried while he wanted to sit on the sofa with me in this cold Winter. Once he is allowed to sleep on the sofa, there is nothing else can make him move except for his favourite liver treat.

I know that it is too cold for him to sleep on a thin cloth in his room , so I wanna to buy him a warmer and softer bed. I saw a cute one yesterday while shopping for furnitures and decided to buy for Cookie. He likes it very much and always spends his time there.

Cookie has his new hair cut

Cookie had the grooming service last Sunday. We brought him to the dog groom salon recommended by Kat in Cooper Plains. We brought him to the salon at 9 in the morning and picked up him at 2 in the afternoon.

I did not recognized Cookie at the first sight as he looked a lot more tidier and cute. I never seen him so clean and neat before. Compare to the first photo, I cannot imagine how messy he looked before. His hair is a lot smoother now and it feels so comfortable to touch him..

Cookie with his new red clothes

Cookie has finally able to wear his new clothes. It was too hot before and I kept his clothes in the closet. Now, it is getting cooler and I let him wear one of the thinnest clothes. It is a red t-shirt and it looks really good on him. Now, he will come to us once we are holding his clothes. I guess he really likes wearing it.

Also, he likes to sleep on the blanket now. Sometimes, Cookie will just sleep there for a whole day unless you treat him with some food. What a lazy dog.

New clothes for Cookie

Cookie gets his new clothes from Hong Kong. This is not the one that I wanted to get the most , but Cookie is too big now and cannot fit into the one that I like. I get him this jacket and seems that he does not like it so much. I guess because it is still very hot for him to wear such a thick clothes and hopefully he will love it when the climate is cold.

Poor cookie with collar

Cookie has desexed this Tuesday and also has his three big tooth taken out. I saw the teeth and they were so long....much longer than the upper part out of the gum. I wondered so painful he would feel at that time. He now has to wear Elizabeth Collar to prevent him to lick the wound or get the stitches out from the wound. He looked so upset these days with the collar and kept on yelling when no one accompany him. Hope he will be better very soon and able to play ball and walk outside .

Meow

Cookie always sounds like a cat. I do not know whether it is common for dogs to sound like that but this is the first dog I met that sounded like a cat. He always makes this sound and I finally able to record it. It is very cute to hear that.

Poor little cookie

Poor cookie hurt his back leg last Saturday. He immediately screamed after he got hurt and started not to use the back left leg any more. He used his other three legs to walk, run but occasionally use that hurt leg to scratch his ears. I touched the legs and sure he did not break any bone. I guess he twisted the leg and hopefully he could be better within days. During the first few days he got hurt, he did not wanna play any toys he used to like. It is so sad to see his walk every time as I was afraid he would be like that forever. Luckily, he was limp for three days and started to use the hurt leg to stand and walk this morning. He also willing to follow me upstairs and I guess he will be fine by the end of this week.

Having its new teeth

Cookie is growing up. He is loosing his baby teeth and ready for the new one to come out. Wah, I cannot believe my dog is growing up so fast as it seemed not long again I bought him back as a little puppy.

Cookie @ new home

Cookie is now at new home and he felt quite comfortable now. Even though he is a curious dog , he follows me everywhere and did not explore much by himself. The most interesting thing is that he slides on the floor a lot because the timber floor is quite slippery for him while running. Once he runs, he will slip on the floor and it is so funny. Although he does not able to control his running skill here, it definitely a better sleeping floor for him as it is cooler compare to the carpet. Now he does not need to search for the cooler spot to sleep and be able to sleep anywhere .

More fun with Cookie

Cookie is very cute and has brought so many fun to me. Although he is cute, he is very lazy. Only food can let him move around but not staying in one position doing nothing. He just had the final vaccination last Saturday and we could take him out for walk ..no more boring at home playing with the monkey...

At first, we tried to train him to walk with the leash but seemed he did not like that. He stayed on the floor and and not willing to walk a step. I nearly thought that I could not bring the dog outside to play. Luckily, after a while outside the house, he kinda got used to it and willing to walk besides me. Yeah....he was very excited with everything, eg. fallen leaves, birds, butterflies ..

Maybe he was too excited that day being able to walk outside the house...he did a very silly thing that night. I heard a noise when he walked to the bed and I went to have a look. What I saw was his bed flipped and he just stayed still there. I guess must be he was so excited and jumped to the bed and his weight made the bed slip and he was kept between the bed and the drawer....So funny that it seemed nothing happen to him.

Hair cut

Cookie was acting a bit weird recently. He cried at night while sleeping which it did not happen anymore after the first few nights we brought him back. We thought he might need to go to toilet but still the same after he finished his toilet time. He was okay during the day time but we found that he did not sleep on the bed anymore. Finally, we found the reason -- his hair is too long and it was too hot to sleep on the bed .

So, I cut his hair. I tried not to cut it too short as it does not look lovely with too shorted hair and pointy nose exposed. I kept the face hair to be long and cute the hair of the body. It seemed that he is getting better and feeling more comfortable while sleeping at night. He is willing to go to his bed now and did not cry ...yeah....Sleep tight ...

Cookie sleeps in a very special pose most of the time. He usually sleeps with the stomach up and all the legs leaning upwards. I guess he looks like playing boxing while sleeping....so cute.

New tricks

Cookie has learnt new tricks. We started to train him how to sit, give hands, roll over and begging "qing qing". We used around 3 weeks to teach him, as he is a very greedy dog , it's quite easy to train him. He likes eating liver treat a lot and I always train him with that. He is so greedy that trying to do everything we train him ibefore we command. That's the reason he is getting so fat and become 0.5 kg heavier in 4 weeks..which is quite a lot for a toy poodle... I am thinking to teach him new tricks...like dancing or pretending to be dead..hehe....

Cookie update

Cookie is getting bigger and bigger but he is still able to be fit in my big handbag. I brought him in a bag last weekend and this was the first time he was in a handbag. He was calm and did not react much. Even so, I think I am not going to put him there all the time because it is not so comfortable for being put in such a small area. hehe..

He always played with the toy monky and chased that all the time. One of the funny thing is that he always sleep with the legs on top. I never seen any dog sleep like that but it is super cute..

Cookie's dinner time

Another update about my little puppy. Cookie is always excited to have his dinner because it is the most delicious among all meals. We add canned food with dry food together making it smells great and tastes yummy. He jumps, dances and even begs us to give him the meal asap. It is so funny and cute

He follows me everywhere and sometimes accidently stepped by me...We try to train him to be more independent and able to stay alone at home. I give him several toys, chew bones or treat in order to make him not feel boring at all. Also,we start to train him how to sit but seems he is very lazy. He just wants us to rub his stomach and massage his body ..what a lazy fat boy!!!

Cookies being active

Cookie has arrived home for 2 days. He is doing quite well and started to feel at home. Although he did cried a bit during night , he stopped quite quickly when I asked him to be silent.
I guess the toughest job right now is to toilet train him. He sometimes do his business on the right spots..but sometimes still do it on the carpet. So we have to clean that with vinegar in order to get rid of the smell. Hopefully, he will be clever enough to go to toilet on the correct area and the house will not cover by vinegar smell.

I bought him to the vet today and he is very healthy. He is a fat boy weights nearly 2 kg. I am not able to carry anything after taking him to the clinic....so so heavy. Just hope that Cookie will be a healthy and loyal dog.

Cookie has new home

This is the Cookie. I decided the name because of his color. He is brown and white...just like a yummy cookie...hehe..

He is already 8 weeks old and this is the first day at home. He is very big compare to his brothers and sisters...(He must eat too much)...He cried a bit on the car when we were driving home. I guess the road is not smooth enough and scared him a bit. He is clever and starts to play with the doll at home...Hopefully, we can train him well and be a great dog.
