My baby

This is my new baby. He is a a quarter maltese x toy poodle. He is just six weeks old and will not yet go home with me till eight weeks. He is very cute with white chest and four white legs. Tao and I have not decided on the name yet. We are thinking between buddy and cookie. I cannot wait that day to bring him home.

Satisfy with a hamburger

When we were still kids, we got satisfation easily. I still remember going to McDonalds having a cup of hot chocolate and hamburger was already one of the best treat for me. My mum always bought me to the nearest McDonalds and enjoy a hot chocolate , fries and burger. I still remembered there was two to three small marshmallow in the chocolate..it was so yummy. I could not find that taste anymore from any of the McDonalds nowadays. Thing always taste better in the past. Memory are always the best.

At this age, I could not get satisfaction from a burger anymore. Our wants, needs, desire get bigger and bigger according to our age. We demand more and better. Many things that we regarded as treasure are no longer as good as they were in life. Life becomes more difficult and challenging in response to our unlimited and asending goals. So, we get to be more hardworking to get what we can get.

I just wonder ..will our desend in one way after a certain age..!

Yum Cha

Yum cha seems to be a culture for all Hong Kong people. However, I do not really like that because it is quite boring. I guess it is because I used to have it every Sunday since I was five till I studied in Australia. ...Also, it is quite troublesome to drink tea in Brisbane. Not many chinese restaurant serving that, you have to wait at least half hour to be seated.

Last week, we decided to yum cha because we have not tried that for a year. So, we decided to give a try and hopefully to get a seat without waiting...hehe....
Luckily, we arrived before the restaurant opened. Even though we were there so early, there were still numbers of ppl already waiting ......

Tao and I had quite a lot of dim sums.......and egg tarts. However, Tao not felt so comfortable that night and that must be related to the food @ yum cha......Not a really good experience.

Guerlain new eye shadow

I have no eye shadow last year cos I hate applying it. My eye lid is quite oily and it forms lines after one or two hours when I apply any eye shadow. However , this has not happened when I started using Dior show cream shadow as base or UDPPP eye primer. So, I started to stock eye shadows.

I always wanted to buy earth-toned eye shadow cos it is easy to apply and match different clothing. I longed for Lunasol but it seemed not easy to get it in Australia. So I just waited ...hehe...I saw Guerlain has launched a new eye shadow last week and it is totally what I wanted for. It is now in my collection and the packaging is so beautiful.....

Clutch needs to be bigger....

Clutch is getting more and more popular these days. Previously, you can only find very formal clutch just for attaining ceremony. However, you can find a great variety of clutch nowadays. They come in different materials and different style, eg. formal, casual, chic...etc. For different functions, you need a different style clutch. You need a casual and chic one for a night out to pub....definitely not too big if you going to dance. One formal clutch for banquet and a casual one for a short day out. (No wonder women always have logical reasons to back up their handbag shopping lists. Off course I am one of them)

However, finding a suitable and nice clutch is not very easy for me. I like to have a medium size one cos I am able to put my purse, phone or even camera inside. I hate the small clutch that only fit in some notes and cards. I dislike holding my clutch in one hand and holding my phone on the other hand. It is so annoying. But most of the clutch are small..for making it more elegant...I guess?!

So far I only have two clutches that fit my requirement. The silver clutch is from mimco. I got it last year and it came in two colors , black and silver. I love it once I saw on the leaflet but did not get it immediately. It was so expensive and I wanna wait until it has sales. But it sold out quickly and I was so regret. Luckily, I saw one on display months later and bought it without pause. I love it because I can fit it all the things I needed. I can carry it or hold it on hands with the strap. It is quite chic and able to use it for a formal banquet.

I got the second one last Saturday. It is a William Phillips Poison Fringe Clutch. I like it because it is very big. You can fit in a small cosmetics bag insider ...It is made of shiny black patent with a key and knuckle-duster trinket which is very rock. Definitely good for a late night drink...hehe..

Tulip

I like tulip especailly in purple colour. It is alway nice to have some flowers at home. Honestly I seldom buy flowers cos they are expensive and cannot last long. I hope it is able to last a bit longer in winter.

Lure on Latrobe

Lure on Latrobe is one of the favourite breakfast spot in Brisbane. It locates at Paddington which is a very relaxing but busy area. There are a lot of great cafes and nice fashion shops. I enjoy going there a lot but it is quite difficult to find a parking.

Tao and I wanna to try this cafe since last time we walked past it. The food smelled so good and people seemed very relax sitting there. We went this Saturday and wanna have our brunch and shop around. However, we missed the breakfast time and only got the lunch menu to choose from.

The menu is quite typical modern Australian menu. It is quite different from Anouk which serves a lot of modern and innovative breakfast. Tao chose the Lamb sandwich and I chose the salad. I do not eat lamb and could not tell whether it is good or not. Tao liked it a lot and wanna to try again in the future. I chose the small salad which is a mixed of two different salad. I got the baked salmon and mixed veg cream cheese salad. The salmon is just ordinary but the pumpkin and cream cheese are very nice. They are soft and with a strong taste.

Even though the staff were busy , they were very friendly and even brought the blackboard of menu in front of us to read. That was so sweet and warm.
